Ingredients
- 4oz Soft Margarine
- 4oz Light Brown Sugar
- 1 dessert spoon Syrup
- 5oz Self Raising Flour
- 3oz Porridge Oats
- Salt.
- ½ Tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add syrup and milk.
- Add bicarb to flour and add with oats.
- Mix to a stiff dough and form into small balls.
- Place well apart on greased trays and press down slightly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes at 160C until crisp and golden.
