Ingredients
- 4oz Plain Flour
- 1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
- 1 tsp Ground Ginger
- 4oz Medium Oatmeal
- 4oz Margarine
- 3oz Granulated Sugar
- 2 level tbsp Golden Syrup
Method
- Mix together flour, soda and ginger. Add oatmeal.
- Rub in margarine and then add sugar. Slightly melt syrup and add.
- Draw mixture together to make a soft dough. Break pieces off, roll into balls and place on greased trays. Flatten with fork.
- Cook for 10 minutes at 180C, 350E, Gas 4. Cool before removing.
