Ingredients
- 1lb 2oz Ready Made Puff Pastry
- 1lb jar Mincemeat
- Milk for brushing tops
- Caster Sugar
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 220C, 425E, Gas 7.
- Roll out pastry on a lightly floured board to about quarter inch thick. Using a plain 4 inch cutter, cut out 24 rounds.
- Put a teaspoon of mincemeat in the centre of each round and using water dampen round edges.
- Gather the edges into the centre and pinch in the middle to seal. Invert the cakes onto a floured surface and roll out to about 3-4 inch rounds. Make 3 slashes across each with the tip of a knife and place on baking sheets. Brush tops with milk and scatter on caster sugar. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. Cool on wire tray.
Can be frozen.
