Ingredients
- 6oz Butter or Margarine
- 3oz Caster Sugar
- 2oz Ground Almonds
- 6oz Plain Flour
- ½ tsp Salt
- Cherries to decorate
Method
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Beat in ground almonds
- Stir in flour and salt and mix well
- Place mixture in piping bag with large star nozzle and pipe star shapes on baking tray, allowing for spreading. Place cherry in centre of each.
- Bake until pale gold and set (10 minutes Gas 4/350F/180C). Cool on wire tray.
