Apple and Nut Salad

Ingredients
- 4 crisp Eating Apples, or 2 Apples and 2 Pears
- 3 tsp Lemon Juice
- 3 oz Walnuts
- ΒΌ pt Soured Cream
- 3 oz shredded White Cabbage
- 3 sticks Celery, sliced
- A dozen radishes, sliced
- 2oz Raisins
- Salt and Pepper
Method
- Wash and core apples and cut into dice. Place in bowl and add lemon juice. Toss to prevent browning.
- Chop walnuts and add. Pour in soured cream and mix well.
- Gradually add celery, cabbage, radishes and raisins. Mix all together and season to taste.
- Turn into serving bowl and decorate with a few reserved walnut halves and radishes.
Editors Note: The method tells you, possibly too late, that you need to reserve some of the walnut halves and radishes - make sure you do this!
